Nadège Le Garlantezec is a French perfumer whose work is driven by emotion and a sense of wonder. In love with perfume since childhood, she sees scents as images in her mind, a form of synaesthesia that shapes everything she creates. Her style favours concise, evocative formulas that open onto a dreamlike world, often sparked by memory and travel. A holiday in Portugal’s Douro Valley, for instance, became Île Pourpre for Liquides Imaginaires. Her notable creations include Lancôme Idôle, Narciso Rouge for Narciso Rodriguez and the award-winning Prada Paradoxe.

Shyamala Maisondieu is a Malaysian-born perfumer whose work carries the warmth of her roots. Raised by a Malay mother and an Indian father, she grew up with the scent of freshly ground coriander and cumin, and spice remains a signature in many of her formulas. Trained as a chemical engineer and once set on becoming an astronomer, she entered perfumery in 1992, drawn by how closely it echoed the science of blending, and has since spent over three decades at Givaudan. Her style pairs bright citrus with warm, comforting woods and balsams, and her celebrated creations include Lancôme Idôle, Prada Paradoxe and Parfums de Marly Oajan.

Roxanne Kirkpatrick is an American perfumer whose work reflects an affinity for nature shaped by her upbringing in Utah. She began her career as a laboratory technician alongside perfumer Olivier Gillotin before graduating from perfumery school in France, and now creates as a Givaudan perfumer based in New York. Her compositions favour clarity and a natural, uplifting character, and her creations include Frassaï Teisenddu, Marc Jacobs Daisy Wild and Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue pour Homme Forever.
