Patchouli 01 opens bright and sparkling, with grapefruit, bergamot and blackcurrant lifted by pink pepper, cardamom, lavender and a cool aquatic breeze. Pineapple and mint bring a juicy, refreshing heart, framed by geranium, orange blossom and elemi. Patchouli, oak wood and cashmere wood ground the base, softened by tonka bean, vanilla and a thread of frankincense.

It feels like a crisp morning on the coast, clean, energetic and quietly confident. A fresh, fruity take on patchouli, it suits spring and summer days, relaxed weekends and everyday wear, with enough woody depth to carry it into the evening.

About The Nose

Kévin Mathys is a French perfumer whose work is guided by emotion and the images that inspire it. Raised in France among forests and his grandmother’s garden roses, he would steep roses in water as a child to try to capture their scent. After studying in Montpellier, he began his career as a flavourist in the UK before training in perfumery at Bell Flavors & Fragrances in Leipzig, later working with Symrise and Sensient before joining CPL Aromas in Dubai, where he is a Senior Perfumer. He often begins a fragrance with a mental image or a name, and is drawn to vetiver, woods, leather and amber. His creations include Kajal IV for Kajal, Patchouli of the Underworld for Electimuss and Reef 33 for Reef Perfumes.

About The Brand

Swiss Arabian was founded in 1974 by Hussein Adam Ali, who established what is widely regarded as the first perfume manufacturer in the UAE, from a small factory in Sharjah. As its name suggests, the house brings together traditional Arabian perfumery and Western expertise, partnering with the Swiss fragrance house Givaudan Roure from its earliest days. Its collection spans eaux de parfum, concentrated perfume oils and incense, rich in oud, amber, musk, vanilla and sandalwood. Best known for its Shaghaf Oud line, the house continues to explore new interpretations of classic materials through collections such as its Heritage Collection.

Each fragrance is an authentic decant, transferred from the original bottle. Original bottles and packaging are not included.
