A small gift towards someone else’s order.

Why I started this

Most of the people we pass each day are strangers, and we rarely get the chance to do something for them. Pay It Forward gives you that chance: a simple way to make someone else’s day a little better.

When you add a contribution, it goes towards another Pontéa customer’s order. You’ll never meet, and they won’t know who you are, but they’ll know someone thought of them. Hopefully, one day, they’ll pass it on too.

How it fits with Pontéa

Pontéa was built to make fragrance easier to explore: smaller sizes, honest guidance and a chance to try something before committing to it. At its heart, it has always been about helping people find something they’ll enjoy.

Pay It Forward brings that same care to the customers themselves. Your contribution helps someone else enjoy their order, and the gesture comes from someone they’ll never meet. Our name comes from the latin word pont, meaning bridge, and this is that idea in its simplest form: one person reaching across to another.

How it works

• Choose an amount: £2.50, £5, £10 or £20.
• Your contribution goes towards the order of a randomly selected customer. We refund that amount to them and send a short email letting them know a previous customer paid it forward.
• Every penny you contribute is passed on in full.
• You can add a contribution on its own or alongside your own order.

So far, Pontéa customers have passed on £X.

Small print: Contributions are usually passed on within a few weeks of being made, to a randomly selected order at our discretion. Each recipient can receive a gift once every six months, and we never pass on more than an order’s value. Pay It Forward is a gesture between customers and isn’t a charitable donation. Contributions cannot be refunded once they’ve been passed on.
